Zoe is now on the move! She’s going backwards most of the time, but she is never where you left her. I don’t know if we are ready for two mobile kids, but I don’t think we have a choice. Kayla is now going to the library program on Tuesday nights and Kinder Music on Thursdays. She really enjoys interacting with other kids and parents. The kid is definitely not shy! She loves music and is starting to get new dance moves and words every day.

We needed something to do one Saturday so we headed down to check kids furniture, and came home with two new chairs. The girls love them! The cup holders in the arms are also nice, but we didn’t notice until we had the chairs home the cup holders are stamped “not an ashtray.” The girls were upset so now we are going to have to buy a separate ashtray for them.

Zoe's forehead met the back of her new chair while she was cruising.

Today we got about 4 inches of snow and Kayla got to go outside and play for awhile. She was so cute all bundled up and excited to go outside. She wasn’t so sure at first, but took off down the hill and loved it. We weren’t out very long, but she had fun. We also had Emily’s first birthday party today. About half way thru the party Kayla was on one of Grandma’s hips and Emily was on the other, checking out the turtles. Kayla wanted to come to me. Leave Grandma for Dad voluntarily…what’s up? She was tired, and put her head on my shoulder. Then leaned back and threw up all over me. I don’t know how I didn’t just lose it, but it’s different when it is your kid. Luckily we only live a couple miles apart and I was able to run home and change. Kayla slowed down for a bit, but bounced back pretty well. I made it back just in time to see Emily do her best impression of Hitler while eating her cake.

Happy Birthday Baby Hitler!
