2 Months for Zoe & 15 Months for Kayla

Both girls had their doctor appointments today. We figured if we were going to have a crabby kid after shots, we might as well have two the same day. Zoe had 3 shots and an oral vaccine and Kayla got 4 shots! They are both doing well so far and hopefully sleep well tonight. At 2 months Zoe weighed in at 13lbs 4 oz (92%) and was 23.5 inches (83%). So she is a properly proportioned large baby. At 2 months 3 weeks Kayla was 13 lbs 0 oz (87%) and was 23.25 inches (70%). Now at 15 months 3 weeks Kayla weighed in at 22 lbs 4 oz (38%) and is 31.5 inches (78%). I guess running around really works off the extra baby fat.
Some of the pictures below are from one of our trips to the local park that we are getting in before the cold weather arrives. We have also started taking the girls to a program at the library where kids under 2 years old sing, read books, and play together. The first week Kayla was a little shy and would not let go of Mom. By week two Kayla was on the other side of the room playing with other kids and the teacher. She kept her eye on us to make sure we were still there, but she was running around stealing toys from everyone. There are also pictures from Grandma Cindy, Aunt Kristi, and Addie’s visit Labor Day weekend. We went to the zoo and the girls played together.
