Most people have heard of Craigslist by now, but if you have not you should check it out. It is a free website that you can list things for sale, barter, post jobs, network, almost anything. Maybe I'm just a fan because it is free and I'm cheap, but the amount of money I have saved/earned by using it is awesome.
In the last couple years I have:
1. Sold our Condo in 3 days for full asking price (No realtor fees!).
2. Found a company that listed foreclosed homes for sale, and bought a house
they had listed. (I'll give Craigslist the credit)
3. Sold Cathy's Mustang
4. Found Cathy a Minivan
5. Bought Misc. furniture and baby items
6. And Now I found a new JOB!!!!
I'm going back to school for Construction Management and we have to do two semesters of cooperative education (on the job training). NKU does not help with placement, but requires you to complete the two semesters. The way the job market is I was a little worried about finding a co-op. I found a job posted on Craigslist that sounded perfect to me. I applied, and as long as I pass the background check I have a new Job! I will be assisting in purchasing/estimating for J A Smith Construction. They are a high end home remodeling company. The average addition is $200,000-$700,000 and the average bathroom or Kitchen is $60,000-$100,000. I guess people with that kind of money are remodeling while the market is down. I'm excited to start in a couple weeks.
Sorry if you were hoping for new pics of Kayla, but we have been slacking lately. We went to IL last weekend, but didn't take many pics. Maybe my mom will send me some to post and we will try to take some more soon.

Congratulations Brent! That is awesome news. Also, you gave me an idea...maybe we should try putting our duplexes on craigslist. I never thought of that..hmmmm....
