Pink Everything...OOPS!
I made it 9 months without turning a load of laundry Pink. Unfortunately that streak came to an end this evening. Kayla was outgrowing all her PJ's so I bought her 6 new ones. I was doing laundry tonight so we would have everything we needed to go to IL on Thursday. The thought that the PJ's were new and there was a lot of red crossed my mind, but there was plenty of room in the washer and we had not had a problem before. So I put everything in. I heard Cathy open the dryer and tell Kayla, "daddy is in trouble!" The new PJ's all came out fine, even the white ones, but socks and onesies didn't fare so well. I'm off of laundry duty for a while. I understand and will take my punishment like a man and stay in my Man cave for a week thinking about what I did.

Don't listen to Ryan! I have done this before and then run a load of whites on hot with bleach. Sometimes it'll do the trick. You usually have to catch it before they go to the dryer though:)
Just so everyone knows-my motto is "Practice Makes Perfect". I do not reward mistakes by taking the task away, no matter how hard he may try, so I see many more loads of laundry in Brents' future.
